You will listen to lectures, conversations, and discussions, all related to university settings. You’ll then answer questions that test your ability to understand spoken English, including grasping main ideas, understanding details, and making inferences.

Begin by creating an account on the official ETS (Educational Testing Service) website. This account will be used for registration and accessing your test scores later.

STEP 2: Select Test Type:

Decide whether you’ll take the TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test) or the TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based Test), depending on availability and your preference.

STEP 3: Find a Test Centre

Use the ETS website to locate a test centre near you. Ensure the centre offers the type of test you intend to take (iBT or PBT).

STEP 4: Check Available Dates

Review the available test dates at your chosen test centre and select the one that best suits your schedule.

STEP 5: Register for the Exam

You can register online and pay the test fee using a credit/debit card, e-check, or PayPal. Additionally, you can register by phone and pay with a credit/debit card.
